We often get asked about which spring tank models will work with our ASD-1 and ASD-2 spring reverb pedals. The following is a list of a few reverb spring tank models that will work well for your reverb pedal. Each tank will sound a little different. The ability to easily customize your tone with different spring reverb tanks is one of the things people long about our reverb pedals. - Mod 8EB2C1B Medium decay, 3-spring, with 800 ohm input impedance. 9.25” long, open side down mounting.
- Mod 8EB3C1B Long decay, 3-spring, same as the above model as except for the longer decay.
- Mod 4EB3C1B Long decay, 2-spring, with 600 ohm input impedance. 16.75” long, mounting is open side down.
- Accutronics 4EB3C1B, Long decay, 2-spring, with 600 ohm input impedance. 16.75” long, mounting is open side down.
- Accutronics 8EB2C1B Medium decay, 3-spring, with 800 ohm input impedance. 9.25” long, mounting is open side down.
- Mod 9EB2C1B Medium decay, 3-spring, and 800 ohm input impedance. 16.75” long, mounting is open side down.
- Mod 8EB2C1A Medium decay, 3-spring, and 800 ohm input impedance. 9.25” long, mounting is open side up.
- Mod MN-8EB2C1B Medium decay, 3-spring, mini size is only 5.875” long. 800 ohm input impedance, and mounting is open side down.
This is not a complete list. There are many more brands and models that will sound great with the Analog Spring Driver reverb pedals. The main concern is that the input impedance of the spring reverb tank is between 600 and 800 ohms, although you can probably use tanks with input impedances as low as 300 ohms without any problems. As the impedance of your spring tank gets further from the recommended specifications, you may experience issues with a weak or distorted signal.
